We have actively participated in modernizing, maintaining and equipping schools, in addition to encouraging better school attendance by granting scholarships for expenses and registration fees. The "Don Roberto M. Gonzalez and Barbarita B. De Gonzalez" Merit Medal is awarded to the most outstanding students at different levels in the Municipal schools and cash awards are given to recognize their efforts and encourage improvement.

In 1990 an incentive program was established for teachers, principals and supervisors recognized for their perseverance, punctuality and effectiveness.

There is also a sports development program to encourage children and young people to participate in the following activities: baseball, athletics, swimming and karate.
